How Much Money Can I Make with Articles?

How much you can make from placing articles and affiliate links on your website differs from person to person. How much you are able to make will depend mostly on how successful your site is. This means getting good search engine rankings through SEO efforts, making your site enjoyable and informative to read through engaging content, building your site around a great niche subject, how big your site is, and how many sites you have.

Some people claim to make as much as $10,000 per month ($120,000 per year) through building and promoting niche sites. However, most people should not expect this kind of success, especially if you are very new, as that kind of success usually only comes with experience and acquired skill. A reasonable income to expect from a niche site, after you have worked for months to gain traffic and are hooked up with good affiliates, may be $500-$1,000 per month. However this is recurring income, so you will make that much monthly off of the efforts you put into that one site. It is not a one-shot payment.

After you have a successful site, most choose to continue to build niche sites. The more sites that you build, the better an income you can generate. Some also choose to build very fast and very short sites over sites that are slightly longer in length. It should be noted that the larger each of your sites are, the more income you will likely generate off of them.

When starting out, it is important to remember that your first site will always be your hardest, since you are just learning the ropes of the business and that not everyone is cut out to market and promote niche sites. It may not work out for you and you may end up losing a little bit of money but that is a risk that everyone in this business has to take.

The important thing is that you don’t give up without a good shot at it, if this is really what you want to do. Your first site may take a long time, the work may be tedious, and you may feel like throwing in the towel. However, if you give up too early, you will never know what could have been. Who knows, you may be the next big website entrepreneur!

Steps to AdSense Domination

When you make your living online, you realize the need for multiple streams of income. One of the easiest and most lucrative ways to generate a secondary income, which also happens to be passive, is via Google’s AdSense program. I’m sure you’ve read the claims of a few individuals generating five figure monthly incomes from AdSense. For many of you, I’m sure you are wondering why you aren’t making this same income yourself.

Wonder no more! If you follow this simple system you will be well on your way to healthy AdSense profits within three months. Are you ready? It’s now time to pay attention.

Step 1 – Preparation
The key to making money with AdSense is all about numbers. BIG numbers! Sure, there are a few people making serious money with less than ten sites, but these are the exception. Your goal will be twenty-four sites in three months. That’s just TWO sites per week! In order to accomplish this, I recommend one of the many available page generation tools available today.

Step 2 – Determine Your Markets
In order to maximize AdSense income with only twenty-four sites, you must know which markets are paying well. To break this down even further, you need to know which keywords within those markets are paying the most.

Step 3 – Register you domains
Once you’ve identified and chosen your markets, you must register domains appropriate to those markets. For example, if your market is “Cabbage Patch Dolls” a domain such as “www.cabbage-patch-doll.com” would be appropriate.

Step 4 – Create your site
Using your favorite page generation software and keyword list, it’s time to develop your site. There are several key points to bear in mind when you develop these specifically for AdSense.

1. Format – Always use the largest ads
2. Border – Match the same color as your background.
3. Link Color = “0000CC”
4. URL Color = “999999”
5. Text Color = “333333”
6. Position – Far left or center and just above the page fold (Top 25% of site)

Step 5 – Verify and track your site
Visit your site and make sure all links work and that the sites appear to your satisfaction. You should also check out the ads Google is displaying. Are they targeted to your primary high paying keyword? If not, recreate your site using your high paying keyword in a higher density throughout your site. Make sure you track your AdSense format, position, and traffic with a tracking system specifically designed for AdSense. Once you know your stats, you can adjust for maximum click-throughs and higher revenues.

Step 6 – Get your site listed in the search engines
This is simple… no tricks involved. Simply post links to your site.

I’ve simplified the process here but you are now armed with enough information and resources to make some serious money with AdSense.

Should You Work from Home?

Are you currently employed outside of the home? If you are, do you regularly find yourself frustrated with the daily commute to and from work? Do you regularly find yourself fed up with workplace gossip or antics that may go on at your company workplace? If you do, have you ever considered working from home? If working from home is something that you have considered you should know that you are not alone. Wanting to work from home is a dream that many have, but is that dream one that could become a reality or should it become a reality for you?

When it comes to working from home there are many individuals who have a misconception. Yes, working from home can involve working from home in your “pajamas” but there is much more to working from home than comfort. Before you automatically decide to ask your current employer about working from home or quit your job so that you can work from home you will want to continue reading.

One of the hardest parts about working from home is finding a work-at-home job or a work-at-home opportunity. Unfortunately, this is where many individuals make costly mistakes. Many mistakenly quit their jobs with the belief that it would be relatively easy for them to find a paid work-at-home job or a paid work-at-home opportunity. As previously stated, working from home is something that is rapidly increasing in popularity. What does this mean for you? It means that it can be difficult for you to find a legitimate work-at-home job or work-at-home opportunity as there is a lot of competition for doing so.

A limited number of jobs is why it is advise that you do not terminate your current position with your employer until you have a steady work-at-home job or work-at-home opportunity lined up. This will prevent you from suffering from financial difficulties should you be unable to find a work-at-home job or work-at-home opportunity that pays enough. The good news about this approach is that the Internet enables you to research and apply for work-at-home jobs and work-at-home opportunities at just about any point in time, including in the evenings or on the weekends. You may also want to consider asking your current employer if you are able to work from home. This will all depend on the preference of your employer as well as your work duties.

Although there are a number of different ways that you can go about finding work-at-home jobs or work-at-home opportunities, it is important to remember that working from home isn’t right for everyone. One of the many factors that you will want to take into consideration is your ability to follow a schedule or have your project submitted by a deadline without constant monitoring from your supervisor. Working from home is nice but it essentially becomes your own responsibility to stay focused and stay on task. For that reason, if you regularly find yourself distracted at home, working from home may not be right for you.

Another one of the many factors that you will want to take into consideration when looking to work from home is the start-up costs. These start-up costs will all depend on which work-at-home opportunity you decide to take. For instance, if you choose to start your own business you will find that your start-up costs will be higher than if you were a home based worker for another company. Of course, it is important to make sure that you do have all needed equipment. This may include a computer, internet access, a second dedicated phone line, or a copy machine. The good news is that you may already have all or most of these items inside your home.

Additional factors that you will want to take into consideration include health insurance, as most home based workers are not covered with medical insurance, and childcare if you are a parent. A close examination should help you determine whether or not working from home is best for you.

Free Steps to Making Money Online

The goal of these articles is to teach you ways to get started making money online without having to spend any money. This time we discuss having your own blog. There are endless ways of making money once you have traffic, and your blog will get you traffic. The income we will be looking at today will come from Google AdSense.

There are multiple benefits to having a blog including the low cost (or no cost), the resources that will help you get traffic to your blog, and the fact that you can provide your blog as an RSS feed. An RSS feed will allow readers to automatically receive your updates into their RSS reader.

Let’s get started with the steps…

1. Set up your blog. You will need to decide what you are going to blog about. You should decide on a theme and name your blog appropriately. There are a number of free ways to set up a blog & to have it hosted for free. Blogger, WordPress and many social networks are good blog platforms. Most will allow you to set up a blog for free. They will host it for free and they will ping search engines every time you update, meaning you will get found.

2. Write some content. Before we move any further there has to be some information on the site and that means you have to make some entries. You can write some of these entries yourself and some can be quotes from sites of interest to your reader. A toolbar button for your browser will make it easy to post. The content will be added to your blog along with a link back to the site.

3. Once you have a weeks worth of blogging with two or three entries for everyday, you can apply for an AdSense account. You can find out all about it on the AdSense page but basically you get Google ads on your site then get paid if your visitor clicks them.

Google will decide what advertisements show on your site based on the content it finds within. You need to be aware that Google will decline your application if your site is not considered to have content. Nobody outside of Google knows the precise rules on this. Once you have been accepted you get a javascript from Google to add to you site. Copy this & then log in to your blog and add the code. You might need to know a little bit of HTML to find the right location to paste your code. With a little experimentation you will figure it out. I suggest the ads be seen when the site loads but should not be too obvious or dominate your site.

4. Write more content. Try to keep your content coming at regular intervals as a number of directories will check on your site at regular intervals and the smarter ones will visit on a schedule based on your update schedule. They will probably determine this within hours after your first post.

5. Submit your site to blog and rss directories. Sometimes when you make a new entry they are automatically notified. Others you will need to manually submit to, some of which will require a link on your site to theirs. You can add links to your template. For a list of directories to get you started try searching Google.

6. Keep writing interesting content. Ideally you want people to come back again and again. As with customers its harder to get a new visitor than to keep existing visitors. So make it interesting, in fact make it so interesting that they can’t help but tell all their friends about it also.

As with most free ways to make money this will take time to get going, but if you can build a following you will make money.

Hydroponics and Indoor Gardening

If you have heard of hydroponics or other methods of growing plants without soil and want to try it out at home, you can. Hydroponics is easy to care for and set-up at home. There are materials you can buy or some you may be able to find around the house.

The dirt or soil that you use to grow plants in a traditional method is substituted for a growing medium (full of nutrients the plant needs to grow) in hydroponics gardening. The nuitrients are fed directly to the roots by method of a feed system. The system can be automated and the gardener can control how much water the roots receive within a specified time frame. The more growing medium the faster the plants grow.

Since the system can be automated, the amount of time and energy that is required to maintain a hydroponics garden is less than with a traditional garden. As long as enough water is present and growing medium the plants can be left unattended for a longer period of time.

A home-based hydroponics garden can grow vegetables year round. The concern about pests and the composition of the soil are not an issue with this type of gardening. Another bonus with this type of gardening is how fast you can have mature vegetables indoors (by increasing the amount of light and grow medium).

The types of plants that are best for hydroponics are ones with thin spider-like roots. Plants that have a bulb root system are still best grown in the traditional soil method inside a pot or outside. When you are ready to begin, germinate the seeds for your plants like you normally would. When the seed has started to sprout and has approximately 2-5 millimeters of growth it is ready to transplant to the hydroponics container and begin growing.

The Importance of Choosing the Right Campground

Would you like to go camping? If you would, have you already selected your intended destination or your campground park? If you have yet to do so, you will want to continue reading…

When it comes to choosing a campground there are a number of different approaches that are taken. In all honesty, most campers choose one of the campgrounds that is located closest to them and others, literally, just pick a campground off the Internet. While these approaches work, it is important to remember that you do not necessarily know what you are getting. If you are looking to have one of the best camping trips ever, you will want to take the time to find the campground park that is perfect for you and your needs.

As nice as it is to hear that you should carefully choose the campground that you end up camping at, you may be wondering exactly why that is. What you need to remember is that not all campgrounds and parks are the same. This is something that many people fail to realize but is something that can have a huge impact on the success of your next camping trip. If you are not careful your next camping trip can seem more like a nightmare than a vacation.

Another one of the many reasons why you should carefully choose your next campground is because it may have an impact on how much you pay to go camping. Campgrounds often charge varied admission fees. If you are not careful you may end up paying more money than you need to. When examining the cost of a campground reservation it is important to keep the on-site services, facilities, and activities in mind. The more you have access to, the higher the cost of the campground reservation will likely be. With that in mind, it may be worth the extra costs, …but not always.

As previously stated, not carefully choosing your campground can turn your next camping trip into a nightmare. One of the reasons for that is because it impacts what you can do. That is why the services, facilities, and activities that you have access to at a campground park are important. You will want to look for a campground park that is filled with activities. For example, look for ones that may have playgrounds for children, swimming pools, fishing, boat rentals, and hiking trails. The more activities that you have access to at a campground, the more likely you are to enjoy your trip.

Your campground decision may also impact what you have to bring along with you. For instance, if the park you choose does not have an on-site laundry facility, you would likely have to pack more clothes to bring along. The same can be said for the activities that you can participate in. If your campground park has a swimming pool or a hiking trail you may want to bring along a bathing suit and sneakers, respectively.

The campground that you choose may also have an impact on how many outside trips you have to make. In the United States, you can find a relatively large number of campgrounds that have on-site general stores or even first aid centers available. Should you forget to bring anything on your trip or even if you suffered a small injury, you may need to leave the campground should you not have what you need. While this may not seem like a huge deal, it may put a damper on your camping trip and impact its success.

The above mentioned ways are just a few of the many that your selected park can impact your next camping trip, both in positive and in negative ways. To help ensure your next camping trip is all that you had hoped it would be, you will want to take the time to find the campground park that best fits you, your needs, as well as your wants.
